Our Team’s Work and Passion in 2023

by Dr. Lori Maldonado

Thanks primarily to your support, we are closing the chapter on 2023 with excitement as we look back to the many accomplishments we experienced.

Your contributions directly impacted the lives of over 4,000 students nationwide, providing them the long-term mentoring they needed to grow and succeed.

Your generosity last year made a tangible difference. Each investment, no matter the size, has been crucial in our mission to guide and inspire young people. This is something to be proud of: your financial support translates into real mentoring by our dedicated Hope Mentors.

As we look forward, there’s more good news. The future of Teach One to Lead One® (T1L1) is in capable hands, with Teresa Lutz preparing to take over as CEO in 2025. Teresa has been with us for almost seven years, and her dedication is evident. She’s proven her commitment to our mission in every role she’s held, and there’s no doubt she will lead with energy and vision.

I invite you to continue with us on this exciting journey. Your ongoing support will enable us to reach and mentor even more students—we’re targeting over 5,500 in 2024. Your contributions fuel this mission, helping us shape the next generation.

I encourage you to embrace this upcoming leadership transition with the same enthusiasm that has defined our work. We’ve built a strong foundation with clear goals and a dedicated team. We’re ready to expand our reach this year and in the future under Teresa’s leadership.

Thank you for your belief in our mission and your role in creating a promising future for our children and youth. Here’s to a successful 2024 and beyond, filled with possibilities and growth.

I’m extremely thankful for you!
