Alycia Anderson

Alycia Anderson — Attorney practicing in Atlanta, Georgia. She has been a member of the bar since 1997. For the past eight years Alycia has been employed in the Corporate Law Department of State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company. Prior to beginning her employment with State Farm, Alycia was clerk to the Honorable Constance C. Russell with Fulton County Superior Court for 5 ½ years. She was in private practice from 1997 to 2001 handling a variety of legal matters. Before entering the legal filed, Alycia was a public school teacher for six years teaching in both elementary and middle schools. Alycia is a licensed minister of the Church of God, Anderson, IN and very involved in ministry on both the state and local levels. She is the current lead coordinator for Christian Women’s Connection for the State of Georgia.

Dr. Barbara Davis

Dr. Barbara Davis — Professor of Accounting and Finance and member of the tenured Faculty of Frost School of Business, Centenary College of Louisiana. She graduated with a DBA from Louisiana Tech University (1995), and an MBA (1984) and BS (1978) from Louisiana State University — Shreveport. Dr. Davis holds certifications as a CPA, Certified Internal Auditor, and as a Chartered Financial Analyst. She refereed the publication of many articles in journals such as Journal of Business Disciplines and the Journal of Accounting and Finance Research. She served as Site Coordinator for the IRS’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program from 1987 to 1992. Dr. Davis lives in Benton, Louisiana, with her husband John and their three daughters.

Larry Lowder

Larry Lowder — Owner and operator of farms in the states of Arizona and California. Mr. Lowder is the Manager and Principal of LJL Farming, LLC and Enia Farms, LLC. He is the Managing Partner of ATB Ranch, LP and Creekside Farms, LP. He serves as President of Alkali Hollow Farms, Inc., ATB Growers (California Cooperative), Las Palmas Trucking, LLC, Orchards Export Sales Inc., and Orchards International, LLC. Mr. Lowder also serves as board member of Horizon MAC (Cooperative), Horizon Nut, LLC, H&R Farms, LLC, and Meridian Nut Company. He is the CEO of G&G Andrew Farms, LP. Mr. Lowder is a member of the American Pistachio Growers Association’s Finance and Government Affairs committees. He is a U.S. Navy (Vietnam) veteran and B.S.A. Eagle Scout. He resides in Madera, California with his wife Janice. They have an adult son.

José Maldonado

José Maldonado — COO of Celebrate Life International, Inc. since 1999, Mr. Maldonado has managed the organization and has promoted its programs. He is the co-creator of CLI’s flagship program, Teach One to Lead One®. Prior to CLI, Mr. Maldonado worked as a Region Manager for the Hewlett-Packard Company. He is a native of South America and is a fluent English and Spanish speaker. Mr. Maldonado earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science with a minor in Aviation Applications from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Mr. Maldonado has volunteered for several youth serving organizations which include the Boy Scouts of America and the Young Marines of the USA. José is the proud father of two adult sons Kenan and Colin. He resides in Atlanta, Georgia, with his wife Lori Maldonado.

Thomas L. Mason

Thomas L. Mason — In June 1997, Mr. Mason took early retirement after a long career at General Motors (GM) to accept the position of Executive Vice President of Focus on the Family (FOTF). His responsibilities at FOTF included oversight and direction of the divisions responsible for broadcasting, publishing, marketing, international, legal, and public relations. This position followed a long career at GM, which included senior sales and marketing positions in Europe, Canada, and the US. In 2005, He left FOTF to focus on speaking at churches, men’s retreats, and family conferences. Mr. Mason graduated from General Motors Institute, a 5-year engineering college where he earned a Bachelor’s of Mechanical Engineering degree. Tom and his wife Karen live in the Atlanta area and have four grown children.

Janet Piper (Chair)

Janet Piper (Chair) — Ms. Piper joined CCCi in 1991 with responsibility and oversight in finance and accounting. CCCi provides IT staffing services from its headquarters in Atlanta, GA, and three other offices. Janet served CCCi as the Chief Financial Officer from 2001 to 2008 and was named Senior Vice President over operations in 2008. Prior to joining CCCi, Ms. Piper’s work history included serving as the controller for an international construction company, and controller for a nationally-recognized architectural firm headquartered in Atlanta. An Atlanta native, Janet is a graduate of The University of West Georgia. She has served on the Advisory Board of TEAR Ministries whose focus is on reaching orphans in Russia. Janet and her husband, Jim, have two grown sons and live in Woodstock, GA.

Dr. Lori Salierno
(President and CEO)

Dr. Lori Salierno (President and CEO) — Founder of Celebrate Life International, Inc. A nationally recognized public speaker, Dr. Salierno has a passion to work for causes that shape culture and aid in the well-being of the youth of today. She travels extensively throughout the United States. Author of seven books: Hope Dangerously (2012, CLI), Balance at Its Best (2007, Infinity Publishing), Claim to Excellence (2006, PleasantWord), Designed for Excellence(1995, Warner Press), Going the Distance with God (1995, Warner Press), When Roosters Crow (1997, Warner Press), and Real Solutions for Ordering Your Private Life (2001, Servant Publications). Dr. Salierno earned her BA in Biblical Studies from Seattle Pacific University and was presented the Distinguished Alumni Award in 1997. She completed her Masters Degree in Theology at Fuller Theological Seminary in 1992. In 2003, Dr. Salierno received her Doctor of Ministry degree in Leadership Development from Asbury Theological Seminary. She resides in Atlanta, Georgia, with her husband José Maldonado.

Ken Warnes (Vice Chair)

Ken Warnes (Vice Chair)  — Ken Warnes is founder and president of Atlas Financial Services, a debt collection company in Vancouver, WA, since 1997. Before starting Atlas Financial, Mr. Warnes was a partner in an underground utility company for 5 years. From 1987 to 1994 he worked for the E&J Gallo Winery at both a local distributorship and directly for the winery. His responsibilities while working for the winery involved market development in the Pacific Northwest. Mr. Warnes graduated with a B.S. degree from Oregon State University in 1985. He now resides in Battle Ground, Washington with his wife Amy. They have a daughter and son.

Bob Zecher
(Corporate Secretary)

Bob Zecher (Corporate Secretary) — Mr. Zecher received his B.S. Degree from California State College at Long Beach in 1974. He began his business career with Equifax Inc., in 1975 while living in Denver, and served in various business positions until 1989, when he accepted an attorney position in the Equifax Legal Department, shortly after he had received his J. D. Degree from the University of Denver. As an attorney with Equifax, Mr. Zecher acquired extensive experience in litigation management, regulatory compliance and contract negotiations. Prior to retiring in 2013, he held the position of Vice President and Assistant Group Counsel and had primary responsibility for overseeing legal support services for several business units within Equifax. He is licensed to practice law in Colorado and Georgia. Mr. Zecher also served as a mentor with the Big Brothers Organization for six years prior to retirement. He lives in Atlanta with his wife Elaine and has two grown children and two grandchildren. He served in California National Guard from 1969-1975.
