Former Educators

Let Your Understanding Become Hope for Their Future.

You’ve spent years shaping young minds in the classroom, and even though you’ve stepped away from education, your impact doesn’t have to stop there. What if you could continue to guide kids down the right path—this time with the flexibility you’ve earned?

Make a Real Impact

How Do You Keep Making an Impact Without Going Back Into the Classroom?

You’ve seen the best and worst of the education system, and while you may not want to return to it full time, you still want to help guide students who need it most. Many kids today are stuck in environments where they’re not getting the guidance they need to make better life choices. As a mentor, you can do what you do best—teach and guide—without having to step back into the system you’ve moved on from. You get to help students outside the classroom by being the mentor who helps them succeed, no matter where they are.

Use Your Expertise to Guide Students Through Life’s Tough Choices

By mentoring, you’re not just helping students with academics—you’re helping them navigate life. Your experience in education puts you in a unique position to offer the kind of guidance they don’t always get at home or school.

You get to spend part of every week in a classroom with students building relationships and teaching biblical-based life principles that become part of who they are.

Talk to us about being a mentor

How to become a mentor

Mentors are taken through a complete background check and mentor certification training.

They are placed in a mentor team and paired with a school and group of students for a whole school semester or year.

Each week the mentor team meets with students and guides them through the T1L1 curriculum that teaches universal principles to them.

Mentors work at developing long-term relationships so the students can feel safe asking questions of significance.
