Position Description:

The Communications Manager will lead the development and implementation of effective communication strategies to promote T1L1 and its products or services. This role requires a highly motivated individual with experience in marketing, public relations, and brand management. The successful candidate will oversee all internal and external communications, ensuring consistent messaging across various platforms while enhancing the company’s visibility, reputation, and engagement with its target audience.

Essential Responsibilities

  1. Standardization of T1L1 communications by collaborating with various teams to ensure communication consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all marketing channels, including print, digital, and social media.
  2. Oversight of marketing projects, steering communications and campaigns, managing project timelines, and providing comprehensive updates to all stakeholders to inspire engagement and produce results through compelling calls to action.
  3. Oversee T1L1 public relations by crafting impactful press releases and coordinating public representation to increase the organization’s visibility to forge and recruit new partnerships across all organizational tiers.
  4. Identify and integrate cost-efficient technologies and resources, carefully selecting vendors for outsourced projects to enhance the organization’s effectiveness and generate superior results.

Position Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience
  2. Live according to the Core Values and employment policies of CLI
  3. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Communications, or related field is preferred
  4. Two years of experience working in communications, marketing, PR, or related field
  5. One year of experience working with video and audio preferred
  6. One year of experience in digital design
  7. Knowledge of HTML and CSS, as well as experience with some Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Acrobat, Premiere Pro, After Effects, InDesign, or Illustrator)
  8. Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word (for typing business-appropriate letters/documents, mail merge documents, etc.), Excel (data entry, spreadsheets, tracking, etc.), PowerPoint, and Google Docs
  9. Strong written and verbal communication skills
  10. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  11. Have a passion for youth development

Physical Requirements:

  1. Office environment with typical business hours, but the role requires flexibility to meet project deadlines and innovation cycles.
  2. Regular interaction with remote teams and digital collaboration tools.

General Work Environment:

  1. This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

Teach One to Lead One® (T1L1) an intense and exciting non-profit organization, is looking for Professionals-in-Training (interns) to join our team of professionals working to create and deliver best-quality youth-oriented character and leadership development programs. Our team members are hard-working, smart, goal-oriented, and creative, and they are looking for interns to train to participate in every level of our organization. The Professionals-in-Training hired for this position should expect to learn all facets of non-profit work and will leave this position with invaluable professional skills and non-profit ministry knowledge.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Completed junior or senior year of college education (provide transcripts)
  • Provide own transportation to the T1L1 office in Kennesaw, GA (daily)
  • One letter of recommendation from a supervisor, professor, pastor/youth pastor or mentor with their name and phone number included

Functions and Accountabilities:

● Experiential Learning (duties vary from week to week and assignment to assignment, it is common for interns to):

  3. Participate in and successfully complete various levels of T1L1 certification to become better prepared to lead others in youth development

  5. Engage directly with volunteers to train and lead them as they mentor young people in schools and juvenile court sessions
  6. Participate in fundraising coaching sessions to learn how to successfully develop and implement a funding program within any non-profit

Position Description:

  1. Coordinate the delivery of the Teach One to Lead One ® (T1L1) Mentoring Experience ensuring adherence to all T1L1 program quality standards.
  2. Manage administrative, program management, and volunteer management tasks, as well as perform essential operational duties.
  3. Collaborate with area Program Sales Manager to consistently deliver an effective T1L1 Experience to students.

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and coordinate all T1L1 programs and their activities in the assigned area, with a focus on increasing the SETI (Student to Employee Transformation Index) goals.
  2. Present the T1L1 Experience to gain commitments from community leaders, school administrators, juvenile court officials, and other stakeholders to increase the number of students mentored in existing sites.
  3. Identify funding available at existing program sites and work with the T1L1 business office to ensure additional funding is available if needed.
  4. Ensure the ongoing recruitment, nurturing, and equipping of volunteers for mentoring and admin service.
  5. Work within a budget, tracking and reporting on all expenditures and transactions.
  6. Manage communications with stakeholders (mentors, church partners, school partners)through media relations, social media, and more.
  7. Collaborate with the local volunteers to advance the mission of T1L1 in the local area.
  8. Schedule and organize meetings and events to enhance T1L1 exposure and recruitmentors.
  9. Maintain updated records on program activities, generate reports on program impact, and assist in preparing proposals for outside agencies.

Position Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
  2. Proven experience as a program coordinator or relevant experience.
  3. Demonstrated organizational and detail management skills in a school or work environment .
  4. Knowledge of budget maintenance, expense tracking, and reporting.

Program Coordinator

Performance Targets: Individuals in this position will be assigned specific annual targets and quarterly projections. Compensation will be determined based on target achievement and overall performance. SETI: 750 students per FTE Program Coordinator. Annual Targets:
  1. Ensure the continuation of T1L1 programs in existing schools and churches.
  2. Increase the number of students and mentors in existing T1L1 sites.
Target Performance Evaluation:
  1. Compensation is associated with the accomplishment of designated goals, with evaluations conducted at the conclusion of each calendar quarter.
  2. Meeting the projected targets for each quarter is essential.
